Exhibition description ↗View my official L’Original artist profile ↗The atmospheric experience
Pigment gathers over built form. A ridge interrupts the light; a recess holds it. Across panoramic worlds and sculptural bas-relief, the work shifts with the room, revealing itself through distance, movement, and attention.
Daylight reveals colour and construction. Raking light draws out the relief. In selected works, ultraviolet illumination opens another register of the image.
Raw matter, shaped surface, accumulated pigment. Decades of material and architectural finishing practice become the underlying structure of an imagined world.
Projection and recess alter the image as the viewer moves. Edge, shadow, and colour make the physical surface part of the experience.

Inside the atelier
Relief becomes terrain. Colour becomes atmosphere. The imagined world begins with something physically built.
